As the title says. I need to re-align my satellite dish as it was blown out of alignment.
When I turn the dish, I manages to pick up German stations . I have tried but I cannot seem to align on the Astra 2E satellite.
I am in Galway. Just wonder should I be searching to the south or north of the German-Astra1 satellite
I so have a Satellite direction App but it seems to point me in the same direction for both satellites

    Any help much appreciated

German channels are mainly on 19E or 19 degrees East of South compared to UK channels which are on 28E approx 28 degrees East of south.

Here's a tip. Put the receiver on BBC1 and have volume up loud, have a window or door open, from the back of the dish 28east is to the left, move slowly as you need to give signal it a few secs to reach receiver. When you get sound check signal strength in sky box. peak signal, job done.

    Thanks for both your help.
I eventually managed to get it setup.
The wind had turned the dish upwards to about 25 degrees. This worked fine for the Astra1 signal at 19E but failed to pick up anything from the Astra 2 satellite at 28E. I just needed to lower the 'pitch' of the dish to about 20 degrees.

Thanks to you both for taking time to respond
