Would you hear noise in a radiator next door in a semi D situation? I hear noise like metal banging on metal at 3 o'clock in the morning. It is a consistent sound bang bang bang evenly spaced out. Do rads make noise like that and loud enough to wake one up?

Yes, it’s a pipe that’s not secured and is probably hitting off another pipe and once heating comes on it tap, tap, tap till pipe gets up to a certain heat.

My brother in law moved house over this, next door was rented and when heating came on he was a light sleeper and tap, tap, tap...Landlord tried to sort it but pipe was buried in wall somewhere without access.
