CV joint [Toyota Corolla 2014]

    can u buy the CV joint without having to get the whole part?

    Its a bit noisy on a Full left hard Turn in Reverse

    I have an NCT in a week would this show up as fault in the Nct if i had not got it repaired by then

    Do you mean without drive shaft of course you can just get the joint

    Yes sorry without the drive shaft Toyota only selling it with drive shaft :mad:

    will the NCT fail u on this ?

    What Toyota is it? Some only come with the shaft the cv joint isn’t separate.

    Not for most Toyota models you can't. Outer joint does not separate.

    It looks like it's the complete shaft you need.

    To answer both of you, yes, the NCT will fail a worn CV joint, so would need to get it done before the test. Hope this helps the 2 of you :)
