    Hello watch Gurus!

Have an auto that's running fast as above.
My rudimentary poking and googling skills lead me to believe it's either a hairspring or magnetisation issue.

Have ordered a demagnetiser, but if that doesn't sort the issue?
Is the hairspring going to be a pricey fix?

It could be a bit of dirt causing a short cycle which causes it to run fast. Gunk on a wheel etc. A service would sort that and is recommended if not done in the past 5 or more years.

Or, if the watch is clean... you could try to rate the watch yourself but that's hard. This is adjust the speed of the watch. A watchmaker can do this too, for a fee.
