How many people will park their car tonight/tomorrow in that car park in Salthill in Galway that gets flooded every single fcuking time there is any more than a strong breeze. It amazes me that there are so many dumb people in Galway that obviously have more money than sense and continue to use the car park despite it flooding every time we have a storm. Insurance companies will have to start putting a clause in their policies for Galway people that devoid they’re insurance if they park there during a storm.

Pretty sure insurance companies require you to purchase a separate flood cover on your policy, and then it's down to whether there are permanent 'automatic' flood defences in place, or 'demountable' (ie: require physical labor to implement/work) and the charge for flood cover is then ascertained, but there would be a limit on it i'd imagine, ie: up to x value only.

I dunno, we built on a slight hill in the country, no flooding worries!

None, as it's closed since 2pm today.

Yup, but it looks more like a house, and it doesn't actually move, or have an combustion engine.
