Revolut is hands down the best banking app I've come across. Saved me a fortune in exchange fees and also allows me to do a little bit of stock trading.

They are fantastic had one for a long time, lost count of how many people I have recommended it too and they loved it.
Personally a lot better than the similar options (e.g. monese)

Revolut is amazing. Splitting bills, rounds, drugs, it makes everything so much easier. I've overheard so many people in pubs etc trying to sell it to their friends. It's so good for travelling too.

    It's great.
You get a referral credit too!
Once you get it, let me know your card details and PIN and I'll ensure you get the referral credit.

Is it just a debit card ? After setting it up what what specific advantage has it ?

Do you travel outside of the Euro Zone?
Do you purchase anything outside of the Euro Zone?

If you don't then it's useless to you.
    Move on

You can pay for stuff in other currency's. The conversion rate is good.

€60 in fees for accessing my own money in Iceland in 2018 using my bank's debit card.

€0 in fees for accessing my own money in Iceland in 2019 using my new Revolut card.

    If you're traveling, Revolut (or N26) is a no-brainer.

Its a good app but there have been a few recent tech issues of late.

Got caught out while travelling recently where Revolut went down paying hotel bill, tried to take money out of ATM (partners revolut card as we thought it might be a card issue) and despite declining money was not returned till issue was sorted some hours later.

Was the second outage in a matter of weeks from them.

Its also really handy for transferring money for splitting bills, etc. Whether here or abroad, its so convenient to use if you're paying for dinner/drinks/concert tickets etc. for a group.

You can just divide who owes what/split it, send a request to the person (the app is synced to your phone contacts) and as soon as they accept, you instantly have what you are owed. Alternatively they can just send you the money of their own accord and no request is needed.
Previous to this my friends and I would have transferred money to each other via banking apps but as we're all different banks, this could sometimes take up to 5 days for the money to transfer.
With revolut it appears in your account straight away so no one is out of pocket. It made group dinners etc. much less stressful, particularly when travelling.

Love it. I always use it if I'm traveling or ordering something online.

Used it for the first time in New York last month. Got it a year earlier, kicking myself I never used it before!

I really like it. I've made cash free trips to non euro countries. You're not spending cash at the end of your trips for the sake of getting rid of it. I buy stuff in sterling on Amazon too without paying non euro transactions charges and get a better rate of conversion.

Great for travelling and exchanging currency.

Word of warning though, their system fails on average once a month. I get messages from them warning me to bring another type of card as they cannot guarantee that my card will work while they have issues with their system.

Brilliant, only have to make a few online purchases from or make the odd trip to Britain to make it worth it.

Can also use it with google pay or apple pay.

It was handy for me as I'm with BOI and neither are available for them.
