I have a Ferrex saw bought in Aldi. It has a20 volt battery. It won't work! It states40 Volt. Does nerd a 40 volt to function

You need the Activ Energy dual voltage 20v/40v battery, which is essentially 2 20v batteries in 1 that will either run in series or parallel depending on the pin configuration of the tool.
