After Charlie Flanagans RIC Commeration been shelved and all the spotlight it has brought on Fine Gaels pro British sentiments just wondering what impact it may have on him , but looking at 2016 election figures first preference votes in this 3 seater
    Sean Fleming FF 13626
    Charles Flanagan FG 8370
    Brian Stanley 8242
    Second FG 4233
    Labour 2856
    Green 1541
    Quota 9718
Hard to see Charles Flanagan losing regardless of some backlash in the midlands unless FF increased vote to get a second TD or the other FG'r got in. Both highly unlikely.
Its the marginal other seats that FG TDs could regret Charlies over enthusiasm to honor the RIC/Black and Tans

And losing Portarlington to Kildare South. (And Monasterevin back to Kildare South, it was in the Laois standalone last time)

Not sure what all that will mean so...Barry Cowen FF would have topped the Poll in Offaly with 1FG and 1SF(is she gone from SF-Carol Nolan)??
Is this 5 seats so next time with 2 FF, 2FG, 2SF elected last time...would have thought SF will lose one of those seats but could FF gain a seat as well possibly giving 3FF, 1FG & 1SF??

Nolan has indeed left SF over the abortion issue. I think 2FF/2FG/1SF would be the most likely outcome, unless FF are having a very good day
