    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone would have any info on this. Currently planning on building a house in the country & want to apply for conditional permission to have a mobile on site. Does anyone know is it the same process for mobile as it would be for a house? We were hoping process such a time to be approved etc would be quicker.

Any help/info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Can you include the temp mobile as part of the main planning?

All planning applications have a statutory minimum timeframe. For example, it’s the same time for a new driveway as it is for a 15 storey office block.

Same in your case, the mobile application will take the full normal timeframe.

as above, just include the mobile home in the planning application for the dwelling.

Thanks for the help. I was going to submit it with the main planning but we won't have drawings ready to go for about another 6weeks & we were hoping to have mobile home before then. I just thought there might be a quicker option but I guess not. Thanks again

Thanks for the help. I was hoping to have planning for mobile sooner as we won't be ready to submit main plans yet but I guess we will just have to wait. Thanks again.

if you want to apply for the mobile, you'd still have to do all the other aspects of a planning application for a house, other than the actual plans..

so youd have to do percolation tests and get a system designed to suit.
youd have to satisfy entrance sight lines
youd have to satisfy local needs requirements if applicable.

so as you can see, you may as well do everything together, which is what people usually do.

Put them in together. You’ll piss off the council otherwise.
