I was going to post this in the Weddings forum, however it's really a local question rather than a wedding question!

We are planning our wedding and have basically no budget, but we've been together 12 years and just want to get it done at this stage!

So we'll be just having a registry office ceremony. I'm not concerned too much about photos as we will be having the reception somewhere "pretty", I'm more just wondering is it horrific?

I know about the fees, notice, days you can have the ceremony and all the admin stuff, I'm just wondering if anyone has any pictures of where the ceremony is held? As I said, it's not super important but I don't want to get married in a hellhole either!

If it's that bad, I'll scrape together the money to have a registrar come to a civil venue, but it just seems like an unnecessary expense.
