Some of you may not realise but Mountain biking trails are now open on the Sieve Blooms.

I was up there last week on the Kinnitty (Offaly) side and I must say It's very well done and great fun too.

There are currently 2 trails open as per below.
The trails are free but you would need a good dual suspension mountain bike. We rented E bikes nearby to help us get up but if you are fit and used to cycling you should be OK getting up on a normally mountain bike.

Protective gear is a must, we did the blue trials and my life flashed before my eyes more than once :pac: Full of jump, hairpins, Rock beds and speed.

The Laois side is much more difficult and not for novices according to the website.
