Working 5 weeks a year in UK

I am hoping to do some freelance work PAYE in the UK. 5 weeks roughly a year, - basically a week every 8-10 weeks. I will still be working PAYE full time in Ireland. How will I be taxed in UK. Do I get tax credits, or do they tax me on all of what I have earned in UK as I already have Irish tax credits? Are there any complications to working this way? I worked in the UK 20 years ago, and bought back several years of State Pension - I am hoping that the short spells of work there will contribute in some way to my UK State Pension?
