    Has anyone here ever used a large amount of cardboard or paper bedding to bed cattle or calves cows on ?

    I seen it when I worked in Scotland has to me more cleaned out than bedded over and need a fair bit to bed down to keep them clean. They claimed it was good to grow grass after because it was treated with lime and broke down easily

    Seen newspaper work well, but glossy magazines don't, best stay away from them, take longer to compost and not as absorbent.
