Heading to Naas tomorrow, the novice chase looks a cracker. Looking forward to seeing Envoi Allen in the flesh.

Tricky looking 4yo bumper tomorrow , probably pay the price for overlooking the top 2 but I’ve split a point on HARDWIRED (5/1, 11/2) and SECRET ARTIST (14/1) . Ted Walsh has Patrick Mullins up on Hardwired , a Fame And Glory gelding out of a Listed 4yo bumper winner . Byrnes hasn’t had a winner since late November but his are running well and he has a good record in these races .

Noel Meade’s runners at Naas usually worth taking note of and he runs one in this race , THEDEVILSCOACHMAN , with a 7lb claimer up . Meade won this race a few years ago and had a bumper winner at a Limerick over Christmas . If I can get double figures I’d have a 1/4pt here (7s now)

Meades other runner on the card is 33/1 in the maiden hurdle , VILLAGE MYSTIC . Won his point in 2015 , his bumper at Leopardstown in 2016 (for Willie Mullins) and then well beaten at 20/1 in the Grade 2 bumper at Leopardstown in 2018 , won by Blackbow . It’s guesswork with a 9yo only having had 3 runs but I doubt Gigginstown would be arsed if there wasn’t something to work on so I’ll chance a small bet on him . Worth noting he is by Saint Des Saints whose progeny have a good strike rate here .
Also worth noting that Meade had another one entered in this for Gigginstown with Sean Flanagan up that is now a non runner , so it’s entirely possible Village Mystic is out for the spin .

Simple enough double for me. Envoi Allen and Lightly Squeeze (3.40 Plumpton) 3/1. Lightly Squeeze looked well over Christmas and assuming he's in decent fettle, I can't see many from this field troubling him.

    Lightly Squeez/Scrutinise forecast @9s.

Two cracking races at Nass today. Envoi Allen hope to see him in flesh at Cheltenham.

    First race I’d like Caravation

1.50 Naas, Everlastingpromis, around 9/4, backed to win and my best bet of the day.

Dissapointed in such similar fashion in the same meeting last year, weird.

2.50 Naas, Asterion Forlonge, cracking price at around 9/4 and should win easily. Can't believe the nice price, like Christmas all over again!! Backed to win
