Ryanair/Aer Lingus - January sales

    HI All,

What is the likelihood of either Ryanair or Aer Lingus having a sale on flights to Europe? I was thinking of booking our flights to Portugal (going in June), but if there is any chance of a sale in the coming days/weeks, I might hold off. I guess it seems unlikely though, given that it would be approaching school holidays.

    Thanks.

I don't think airlines really have sales, they seem to me as just marketing scams - increase the price then decrease it in the "sale", usually with obscure destinations and off-peak dates.

Just keep an eye on the flights over time and book at a price that works for you. Don't expect them to discount flights to a popular destination at a peak time too much.

Yeah thought the same. Thanks again.

booked for the canaries this week. having looked at the prices pre sale, there was no difference in price even with the 30% discount.

They do sales alright but not for summer or other holidays
