    Hello,

I want to book a 2 night stay for the end of this month, Friday and Saturday. What hotels can you recommend that will have live music or entertainment for these nights. I'm based in the Midlands and I'm willing to travel. Preferably not Dublin. I'm not really interested in a guesthouse or small lodgings. 3 star upwards If possible.

    Thanks all

A hotel with live entertainment at the weekend isn't necessarily a good place to stay in - have you considered that there may be noise up to the wee small hours with people standing outside smoking or just hanging around at the end of the night?

There's also the issue of stags and hens at this time of the year - prior to spring weddings.

If I was you, I'd separate the accommodation from the live entertainment. Find a quiet hotel in a town that has a choice of music venues, then at the end of the night get a taxi back to your hotel.
