The upper coolant hose burst this morning on my 07 Opel Corsa. I googled how to change it and it looks quite straight forward, the only thing I'm unsure of us whether the system needs bleeding after?

    Any help appreciated,thanks

I would imagine so yes. After replacing the hose top up expansion bottle to the fill line and leave her run. When getting up to op temp tighten the cap and basically squeeze tge hoses carrying coolant to force air out then drive on. Over the next few days keep an eye on the coolant level and fingers crossed car didnt overheat when pipe burst and all should be well

If that hose goes to the top of the expansion bottle and it is the highest point on the cooling system like below then it's unlikely it'll need to be bled. This arrangement allows the air to gather in the header tank. If you're draining the entire system, set the heater to HOT before you start.
