Castle Hall & Plaza Central in Swords

    Hi everyone,

I am hoping to buy a two bedroom apartment this year and one area that I'm considering is Swords.

I was out taking a look at the area last weekend and I wanted to ask if anyone has any insights or opinions on the Castle Hall apartments that are part of the Pavillions mall or the Plaza Crescent duplexes?

Are they nice places and well maintained? What kind of people are generally living there (i.e. families, young professionals etc.)?

Also, bit of a weird question but I was going up to take a look at the Balheary Par 3 course and I notice that it's about a 15 minute walk up a small road after getting the 41C to the St. Colmcille's GAA stop. As there's no footpath or street lights and hardly any houses, is it deemed okay or in any way normal to walk to the course in daylight?

Or is it deemed a bit dangerous / frowned upon to walk that road and as a result, people only ever drive there?

    Thanks a mil' in advance!

You can walk it, there are plenty of walkers and runners use that route, just make sure you can be easily seen and walk on the same side as oncoming traffic.
