My guess is Dr Strange is the pet rabbit.

In the comics Agatha Harkness has a son called Nicolas Scratch (Senor Scratchie?) who has pretty much the same powers as her mind control, manipulation etc. Although it that is the case I don't know why he's effectively taking the role of Agatha's familiar.

Can we start a placing bets on who this Luke Skywalker level cameo is going to be?

My guess is Dolph Lundgren's Punisher 5,000/1

    Michael Fassbender's Magneto
    is my guess.

If it's akin to Luke Skywalker, then it has to be Thor, Spiderman or some reincarnation of Iron Man.... anything else doesn't fit the top billing

I dunno. I’d be underwhelmed if they showed up, we know they are out there. But them showing up is not quite the Luke Skywalker reaction people are expecting. For example people would lose their heads if Michael Fassbender or Ian mckellen showed up as Magneto or even John Krasinksi as Reed. Im not saying it has to be them but i suspect it’s someone who will set social media on fire

Strange hasn't shown up yet, given his role of Supreme Sorcerer
, and that Wanda's hex in Westview should've set alarm bells ringing.

Granted that could all change with either episode 8 or 9.

Also with the shows events being 3 weeks after Endgame, you'd have to wonder what Fury makes of it all on the S.W.O.R.D space station.

Then again Hayward is acting Director, so could be keeping him in the loop.

I would suspect there is a decent chance that Fury hasn't left earth yet - on the presumption that the Fury we saw dusting in the post credits for Infinity War was actually Fury.

As for Dr Strange, I'm not sure the Hex so far would necessarily set the alarm bells ringing. Most of the focus of sorcerers seems to be protecting the sanctums, which at this point this is no threat to. What Wands is doing isn't even 'magic' given that it is derived from an infinity stone. Agnes on the other hand might link in.

I already said it's Drax. He's been standing in the background of every episode since the series started.

    This too shall pass.

I remember reading somewhere, or maybe it was a YouTube video that the Fury dusted in Infinity War was THE Fury, and that after Tony's funeral in Endgame, he had Talos assume his identity and place on Earth while he went took care of things off planet - as seen in Far From Home.

I really would be surprised if it was anyone but
Dr Strange arriving to announced that we've got a big problem
, either as a last-second pre-credit roll moment or a mid-credit scene, but I can see Feige throwing an extra surprise in, which could be the sought after
John Krasinski as Reed Richards or Fassbender as Magneto

Bettany has said it is someone he has wanted to work with his whole life, so I'm thinking it's someone older and possibly also British but not necessarily.

Nah, pure speculation and wishful thinking.

Maybe it's actually going to be Luke Skywalker. I mean if Marvel is going to introduce the multiverse, they might as well go totally off the wall with it and introduce Star Wars. Except, it won't be the Luke Skywalker of the recent movies. But the Luke Skywalker of the expanded universe (Legends) books.:p

Now that you've said that only one person comes to mind
    Ian Mckellen as Magneto

Lego Luke Skywalker or the ultimate messing, Lego Batman! Honestly, if we're not offered writing gigs in Marvel after this...

    They worked together on
    Da Vinci Code
    so don't think it's him, unless it's
    fassbender
but do the times make sense?

    Technically Bettany didn't work with
    cumberbatch
so my money is on him

So WandaVision connects to the 2nd Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Anyone have any ideas how it'll cross over with the 3rd Tom Holland Spidey film.

I would add in the Loki series there as well.

Loki supposed to start in May, like a week after Falcon & The Winter Soldier, but it's been moved to June by the Star Wars spin off The Bad Batch.

Just mentioned in the other thread that Dr Strange 2 was supposed to be released before the third Spider-Man. I'd be surprised if it is an easy lift to just swap places if there was specific cross-over. Given the timeline of Far From Home being set after Wandavision it makes it hard for it to be suddenly an issue in No Way Home.

It could be a series of events that leads to the fabric of reality being torn away? Result in substantial universe overlap. Seems as plausible as anything. :pac:

I wonder would they consider when the season is over editing out all the credits and releasing it as a feature.

Makes sense but Parker seems the least likely of the 3 shows to cause the events, much more to be accidentally caught up in them which would have made sense if it was coming after WandaVision and whatever happens in multiverse of madness.

We had some examples of them flashing back and forth (like Antman 2 occurring before IW) but it seems like Phase 4 could get very messy on pure when events are occurring, even before getting into elements of the multiverse.

I doubt they'd do it officially, I don't see any point and I can't see the angle for Disney either - why would they stoke the flames of the flawed arguments that their shows are just 'dragged out' movies?

No matter the complaints otherwise, the show is clearly made for TV. By removing the credits you ruin the natural break when they change everything for when they move decade.

You'll likely find a fan edit out there though.

There was a rumour some time back that MH would be playing
    Nightmare
in the MCU in the near future so you never know.
As long as he doesn't arrive in a X-wing it'd be ok

Having to wait another whole week for the next episode is torture! Really enjoyed this one but it flew by. My niece was going nuts when
Agatha called Wanda the Scarlet Witch!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,143 ✭✭✭ilovesmybrick

Also there's another post-credit scene! I'm really not sure how they're going to wrap this up with only one more episode, but I can't wait to see how they do it!

I notice in the credits Debra jo Rupp gets a reasonably high billing. I feel she’s some way involved in things.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

Well i think we are completely caught up with what is going on with that episode.
Does anyone feel like this is a retcon series now? They are basically saying she had the power all along and the mind stone juiced it up. I think Wanda is going to be the first X gene mutant revealed in the MCU. They are basically reinventing her as The Scarlet Witch character who is a mutant.

That’s what it seems like to me.

Next week would want to be a solid 90 Minutes to wrap everything up.

Nothing worse than a rushed finale.

Don't know what kind of future SWORD could have in the MCU, it will be difficult to see them as the good guys after this episode.

Looking like Hayward is the real puppet master to me.

Real shame they couldn't get Aaron Taylor Johnson back for a few scenes, even for these flashback scenes (keep Fietro for the previous few episodes, but have the real Pietro in a few flashbacks).

And so it really was just Wanda who created Westview. Agatha just sensed the power and piggybacked on it to find out what was going on and test Wanda.

Hard to see where things will end up, but it's been a great series. I've really enjoyed it thoughout.

My guess is Dolph Lundgren's Punisher 5,000/1

Paul Bettany to win troll of the year 2021.

Do we know that they couldn't? Wouldn't be surprised if Wanda gets to say goodbye to him and Vision in the end and we get two Young Avengers™ so it's not all loss for her.
