I'm living in a mobile home in Kildare.
As far as I can tell I've a few rats living in the body of the mobile home.
I'm at my wit's end and would be very appreciative of some help or advice.
I've done everything I can possibly do at this stage.
I'm just wondering if anybody out there would be a specialist at this kind of stuff.
Maybe have some ferrets, dogs, cameras, anything at this stage that could help me get rid of them.
I've been onto places like rentokil who come out and lay poison etc etc.
    That has all been done.
I'm just sending out an S.O.S to see if maybe I could get some help that is not available with mainstream options.
    Thanks.

Can you cut the grass all around the mobile get it as short as possible. Next step would be move anything they can hide under logs rubbish. Higher up the gas bottle they hide under that space. Any food put in airtight containers wipe up spills. They need food and water so eliminate what they need or make it impossible to get. They will go look elsewhere.

After that put grease all over the underside every inch they won't like crossing it. Traps with peanut butter will get things under control. Horrible little things but put the effort in they will move on

Get a board of wood and screw traps to it. Leave it underneath. If you can get ferret droppings and leave them around the place the smell is a deterrent to rats. A jack Russell dog or similar terrier will go after and kill rats as well.

Dena; Get birth naked and run round the trailer three times, under a full moon, singing 'Ava Maria' at the top of ye lungs.

Will that cure ye rats? No. But, it's about as much use as 99% of the advice ye'll get on internet fora. So, I just thought I'd join in.

If ye want some actual advice? Sure. I'm just the man ye looking for. Unfortunately, I'm in Leitrim and I make it a rule not try to work through the internet.

Look for a 'me', closer to home. An actual Rat Catcher (Though most go through the roof, if ye call them that, these days. They think passing a test puts them on the same level as Brain Surgeons and they want to charge accordingly! I'm retired now so I don't care :p)

Avoid the big, household / international names. They'll take ye to the cleaners. Ask around for a known and trusted local bloke. One man band. Find him and wait to hear what He has to say, before messing about.

Meanwhile; Ye are absolutely certain it's rats? Have ye got a mars bar?
