Another miserable New Years

Anyone else experiencing another miserable new year at home in bed on there own !
It’s my last one I swear life must be better than this !
Other half in another room not that I want her at this stage the boat has sailed , gone to sea too long

I never post in here but just spotted this. Just get up in the morning and change your life. Start doing things every day that move you in the direction of some form of happiness or contentment. My take on life is that it truly is very short and that there is no afterlife. This is it. You have this incredibly short period of time to make of it what you will. Between now and this exact moment next year work hard towards a happier moment. Then post again. I hope you have a happy new year. Carpe diem.

Genuinely hope it works out for you. More often than not, when you put plenty effort into getting what you need in life you get what you deserve eventually. Whether that involves putting more effort into the relationship you have with the person in the next room or someone else, I suppose that's what you need to figure out.

My new years i got up wasnt feeling great ...went to a friends house got lost ...found it ...gave presents ...said hello then left 15 mins later ..i wasn't feeling well plus i was socially anxious ..everyone was chatting ..people i know NICE people ..but the room was so loud ....i couldn't deal with it...So i went home.

They prob think i am a weirdo. Now i feel horrible. But i just felt i wasn't meant to be there. I couldn't fit in.
Maybe next year will be better.

I am sorry OP i truly am. People say make progress in life etc. But the thing is ...you can't control every out come. If you make yourself healthy you will be healthy ....but you might not be able to fly

What i am saying is..you can make life better ..but you can't control how life gets better to every detail.

I can change my life...is doesn't mean it will turn out the way i had planned.
