Ford Mondeo 2016 dead battery

2016 ford mondeo, diesel 1.6. AGM battery. 75AH, Average 220km per week. Short journeys. I've had to replace battery twice. Car fails to start one or twice yearly. No sign of drain on the system. Does anybody know can I turn off the smart charge so the battery charges faster.
