    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

And in case people just watch the video without giving it any second thoughts. That guy is not just an actor. It is dr Dieter Zetsche, who retired this year as the CEO of Daimler-Chrysler (mother company of Mercedes-Benz) after having worked for them for 43 years.

How BMW pulled this off is beyond me.

He's a good sport too, promoting nascent German EV startup company Sono Motors with this ad:

Germans despite their reputation are great craic, in their own way. It’s more dry and playful craic rather than wit and banter. The Mercedes / BMW rivalry is fascinating and typify’s their sense of humour, i would suspect after some initial outrage in Stuttgart they are joking about it especially as the I8 will shortly be end of life.

It would not surprise me if the result of this is a Mercedes electric super car.
