    Starts tonight (Sunday Dec 29th) BBC1 9pm
Ep 2 is on Monday 30th at 9pm, and then continues on Sunday nights for 4 more episodes

Looks interesting, might get lost in the Christmas scheduling

Drama about the political scandal engulfing 1960s Britain known as the Profumo affair, which took place at the height of the Cold War and led to fears of a national security breach. At the centre of the storm was Secretary of State for War John Profumo's brief sexual relationship with 19-year-old Christine Keeler, a young woman whom the powerful, male-dominated establishment sought to silence and exploit, but who refused to play by their rules. Fact-based drama, starring Sophie Cookson, Ben Miles, James Norton, Ellie Bamber and Emilia Fox

A game of spot "The Crown" actors in this one.
John Profumo is played by Ben Miles who was Peter Townsend in The Crown, also spotted Anton lesser who was Harold Macmillan.

That said it's certainly worth staying with, especially since the first episode has given a glimpse of the dangerous world Keeler got caught up in.

James Norton gave an interview to Graham Norton On Radio 2 last week, mentioning that in research they have found that some files are locked for 100 years. If you watched The Crown you will suspect that maybe it's the involvement of a senior royal personnage that has caused some coyness on behalf of the government about this affair.

Nothing quite as desultory as an orgy scene on mainstream telly.

The orgy scene was based on rumours at the time of a senior cabinet minister who attended such parties dressed in chains (and little else) with a sign saying "spank me".

Sounds like a normal day in Westminster.

Looking forward to the "Well he would say that, wouldn't he?" quote, one of my favourites, even though its debatable whether MR-D said those precise words on that day

Decent first episode I thought, will stick with it.

The actress who plays CK is hot.

Decent first episode I thought, will stick with it.

The actress who plays CK is hot.

She also plays the younger Joan in "Red Joan", loosely based on the story of British woman Melita Norwood who passed on Nuclear secrets from Tube Alloys.
Interesting story, Film is pretty Meh.

She's also in the Kingsman movies, Roxy is the character.
