Glue on Wooden/laminate floor

Hi I am looking for a tip!

There was some lino covering a wooden floor in my kitchen. It's that laminate wooden effect - not real proper wood.

I took up the line and at two places it seemed to have been glued very well and now there's gluey sticky bits in two large spots. I've tried elbow grease and wall paper scrapers and it's not really coming off or else damaging the underneath by scraping/digging it out.

Hopefully there's some magic trick that'll disolve it and make it easy to remove?

    thanks in advance!!

    Try white spirits

You need to be careful with what you use. White spirits will strip some of the cheaper click floors. There is a good Pvc cleaner called unibond it might be worth a try but check it on a hidden bit first. Some of the nail varnish removers work well for cleaning some of that stuff but like that try it on a hidden bit first.

WD40 leave it for a couple of minutes a gently with a Stanley blade scrape it off. If there is any residue left try white spirits on a cloth.

    Google "label remover".
Its a spray can - you basically spray it on and leave it a few minutes then wipe off. I find it great
