Alaska - travel in extreme cold - essentials

Myself and my partner are traveling to Alaska in 3 weeks. We will spend there 3 weeks traveling across, have planned activities like dog sleigh, camping etc.
I’m trying to find suitable clothing for weather that goes to -30 ...in particular I’m struggling in finding coat that would keep me warm.
Also any other tips on what to pack that might come in handy?

And question to ladies... how did you deal with makeup in that cold? Better not to wear?

I'd find out if your tour company can arrange to hire out things like boots and outer layer jackets as they could get expensive and bulky to pack...

Otherwise you're gonna need:

Foundation, Base Layer
Mid / Insulation Layer/s
The Outer or Shell Layer/windproofs
Gloves/Balaclavas/socks
Winter boots/thermal insoles

Temperature are extremely low at the moment, so make sure anything you to purchase is technically rated for those temps.
