Price of Gas

Have prices for gas gone down much in Ireland 2019?
I have just read that the price of gas has sunk across Europe as a record number of cargoes from US Russia and Qatar have flooded the continent. US is pumping up its exports and Russia are keeping up so as not to lose market share.
    Will Ireland benefit at all?

Russia is not in a position to tactically turn off the gas to reduce supply and push up global gas prices. Their economy has been decimated by the drop in energy prices over the past few years. Economic necessity says they have no choice but to continue to sell gas - at any price.
