Any one have any idea what it would cost to get a full service in a main dealer in dublin area?
I guess spirit, joe duffy and koping are the only options. Is there much difference in price/ work quality?
    Car is Volvo v90 d4 2016
    Thanks in advance

€600-700, suggest you ring, indicate milage and what you want done so as to get an accurate quote.

Had an S40 from new for 11 years, ask for a quote before committing to a service is the best advice or go independent

I used to pay about €300 on average from Koping about 5 years ago for an S60. I would imagine it has gone up since but I always found them reasonable considering I once got a service and timing belt and water pump change done for less than €800. Best to give them a shout in any case. :)

It's very hard to tell without knowing what was done at the last service interval. Volvo dealers will have a recommended service schedule usually dependent on mileage of the car.

As the movie says "they're only guidelines", wipers add another 50/60" etc etc

I got an oil change done at my local indy on a v60 d4 engine and that was €160
a full service last time with an indy was just shy of €300

Very much so, I used to do all my oil and filter service, 35 quid for the parts. Biggest faff was changing the pollen filter and it cost 35 quid as well

Well I’m presuming an oil change is just oil and filter so 160 quid seems steep. Full service is generally oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter with potentially the fuel filter too

Jaysus, don’t let them do wipers! They should be the price of blades and two minutes of your own time.

I went to Spirit recently for a service on a 2018 XC60 diesel. They quoted €300 for first service and €450 thereafter.
