I have the alarm set for 5 to get the jobs done before the kids wake. They are usually up about 6.30 or so on Christmas day so I should have the essentials done and be back up to enjoy it with them.
Merry Christmas to all of ye and many thanks for all of the advice, opinions, agreements and even disagreements throughout the year.

Yea, we've a brilliant rector too, very innovative on sermons, tonight he likened life to christmas, the chocolate of christmas being the good in life and the brussels sprouts being the bad in life ........ anyway he finished off the sermon by producing (and eating) a chocolate covered brussel sprout, signifying we need the mix

Girls just gone to bed here.

Wasn’t too convinced youngest 11 is still believer but she was major excited today with non stop Santa chat.

Ham cooked and goose ready for tomorrow.

Relaxing with a glass of wine with Christmas carols on tv.

Happy and peaceful wishes to everyone, hope tomorrow brings you joy be that from Santa or just relaxing with family or feeding your stock.

I smile when thinking of my dad long passed, it would be some fresh bedding and extra feed to stock on Christmas Day

We're lucky to get to 4:30 without them up, latest was 5.
Have 3 days feed out here, only top up ewes in pens and feed a few weak ones so nothing much to do here. Have a small bit to do for a friend later in the morning alright though.

    Have a good one, folks.

The ‘Daddy? Daddy? Has Santa been yet?’ sleepy whispers have started here... long ways to go to get anywhere near 7... :)

Happy Christmas one and all, hope ye all have a good one...

Santa has just been here. The eldest lady, 9, took forever to go to sleep so Santa had to circle the runway for a while.
I had the sweats coming out through me getting the stuff down from the attic!
    Anyway, all is good.
    Merry Christmas all!

Funnily enough I came across someone the other day that found happy holidays very offensive as it is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Christ.
    Cant please everyone I suppose.
    Anyway Happy new year :pac::)

    Happy New decade folks!

Yeeesss I was first in with the decade thing. :pac:

May the decade bring prosperity to the farmer who feeds the concrete dwellers.
May the decade reward the carbon sequestrationers.
May the decade focus on the dual purpose of drawing down carbon and producing food.
May the decade reward those who make love to the soil.
May our soils be active while our farmers watch Judge Judy.
May we all see each other in 2030 being fed with home produced food while China holds the world to ransom with their food blockades.

May sense return to the 20's and thoughts go to where life begins and ends - the soil.

Happy, prosperous and may ye be praised and rewarded for saving the planet this decade folks!!

    Slainte.
