Good car/autobox/engine combo to get/recommendations

    I'm interested in replacing my car, I'm thinking of an A4 or similar sized estate,
    Im considering anything in years no older than '09 and probably no newer than '13,

    Ive read on Boards of problems with older Audi multitronic automatic gearboxes and am wondering did newer Audis have the same problems.


    Recommendations?

    Anything with an 8 speed ZF box. That could be a Merc, BMW, Jaguar, Rolls Royce...the list is exhaustive.
