Hi can anyone tell me can I put a set of alloys from a 2012 vw polo wheel size 185/80/R15 , onto a 2008 vw polo that currently has steel wheels size 165/70/R14 ?

    Do you mean 185/60R15?

If so, then yes, fire away. Bolt pattern is the same on both models, as is centre bore.

There’s only 2.5% difference in the outside diameter of the tyre, so nothing to worry about.

You may need to use the wheel bolts from the car that had the alloys. Again the lug nuts are interchangeable between the different generations of Polo.
