UK looks set to leave the EU. Are beef prices going to crash or how will it work out for 2020. Obviously trade negotiations will commence but that could take a long time.

If theres no trade deal by the end of 20,they crash out on wto terms on jan 1st 21
The only people pushing that are the ERG wing of the Tories, so its likely one way or the other now with his 80 seat majority,Boris will ignore them and extend the transition period until one is negotiated, meanwhile every trading barrier is the same as now,ie none,so no excuse for price drops if you agree?

Sterling has strengthened against the Euro, beef prices will follow suit.
Still 60 million people to be fed in the UK, supply chains are still in place. Johnson is not so daft as to go and starve the people for the sake of getting cheaper, less secure, poorer quality untraceable food from Asia and south America.
A deal will get done in the next 12-18 months. till then nothing much will change
