Can I use a Vodafone router with Eir broadband?

I have Eir broadband and an Eir router, but the connection keeps dropping and I think it might be because the router was accidentally damaged recently. I still have my old Vodafone router. Can I use this instead? How would I go about it exactly?

    Thanks!

You could try it. It should work. A router just follows the settings. Look up the necessary Eir settings and enter them into the other router.

I believe it is not straightforward and only with certain routers.
Do a google on replacing F2000.
Why not just tell Eir it is faulty?

Since it's faulty as a result of customer damage I assume they'd charge for a replacement.
