    HI guys,
we have had to cancel our Christmas holiday to NYC due to my wifes mother being admitted to a hospice. My wife is her carer and we had planed on taking a few days away as a break but her mothers condition has deteriorated.
I'm looking for suggestions on somewhere in close proximity to Dublin that I can take her away for a night to try and switch off for at least one night from all the stress of whats going on.
Most places I am looking at have no availability or there spa facilities are not available.
Can anyone suggest somewhere that would be suitable.
    Thanks

Not sure about availability but Bellinter House near Navan has a pool, spa, outdoor hot tub & Eden restaurant. Really nice spot

Are you sure it's the right time to go away?
Her mother's health has deteriorated recently and perhaps she mightn't want to go away?
It might be worth asking her first.

I know you've best intentions at heart.

Why not try Johnstown Estate (Enfield) or Dunboyne Castle?

Know this is late but in case this post pops up when searching on Bellinter (as it did for me when looking for somewhere to stay near but outside Dublin). I think the pool in Bellinter closed down years ago.
