Nice to have two days of Cheltenham on the tele coming up.
One that jumps out at me is Lalor in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup on Saturday.
He won the Grade 1 novice hurdle at Aintree then the Grade 2 novice chase at the November meeting last year but never travelled in the Arkle before being pulled up, a similar story to Hardline who ran a blinder in the John Durkan last Sunday. He's being sent over this extended trip for the first time on Saturday which hopefully will be to his liking. Aidan Coleman has won this race before so its a good jockey booking and at 16/1 paying 5 places, its too good a price for this animal who has shown a bit of class in the past.

Surely has no chance with the rain they have had there?

I have backed Brelen D’as to go one better than the BVGC there last month.

Hopefully in the morning Cogry’s price will drift from 11/2 so i can back him to win the race he won last year and he is down to the same mark, he has a much better swing in the weights than he had the last day with West Approach and The Conditional franked that form running so well in the Ladbrokes Trophy.

Singlefarmpayment was a neck to Cogry in the race last season and on a dangerous mark but i can’t come to backing him having given him so many chances in the past.

Easyland for me today in the x country might be too good for these 4/1

Jayzis SN, I wouldn't back Lalor with stolen money on this kinda of ground
That win last year seems to have been a one off

I like Elixr da Nutz and Pym double for the weekend myself

As a shortie Chic name is nearly evens to be in the 5 on betfair. Only falling takes him out of that. If he travels at all better this time than last he probably wins, unless the french fav is top class.

In that race is do like the 50/1 French Decret. He has some very decent form, and 120 looks a very enticing rating. 5 place with paddy looks generous.

Cant believe the 20/1 about impulsive star at 2:30. He has a great record fresh and still has a big race in him.

Ive also been watching peter the mayo man , hell be doing something soon enough and might be value to follow starting here.

I need to find 1 more for the lucky 15.

Put Pym up here last time. The price is short enough for one of his type but he jumped fantastic that day and a repeat would see him hard to beat.
The 2/1 was fair enough I thought for all I wouldn't go below that.

Hope Chantry House is as good as they think and franks the Edwardstone/Fiddlerontheroof form.

If he falls at the last fence then he truly is a Mayo man

Jumping again. Absolutely faultless. A transformed horse over fences.

That was a hot race as well, lots of winners will come out of it and the winner is special.

Blue Templar surely a bit of each way value at 25/1 with 4 places?

Intersting that James Reverey is over to ride Amazing Comedy in the Cross Country( ran well in this race last year)

For me sins i'm backing Singlefarmpayment each way.

Loves it here, ground to suit, had a good pipe-opener, and down a few lbs from his second place in this race last year. Everything in place for a big run.

2.45 Bangor, Cheddleton, around 10/11. Just can't see the horse winning today. 100% lay bet for me and my best bet of the day. Might make sense to back the second fav to win as looks a 2 horse race on paper but just playing it safe with a lay on Cheddleton.

Can you give more notice in future so we can all back the opposite of what you say ?

    Cheddelton wins by 19 lengths

A fair punt on this French horse in the banks race. I enjoy these races. Haven't had a bet on one in years though. You don't usually see 5 year olds running in them.

GOAT/Sonofgoat/BillyGOATgruff or whatever you are calling yourself these days

I honestly have never, ever seen a worse "tipster" in my life
You should set up a thread of all your tips so we can all lay them
    We will all be rich!!

    9/2 on Bet365 last night

The French horse was circa 5/1 last night. There was possibly bigger out there but that seemed the general concencus

Had a good bet on Mossey Fen tomorrow at 6/1 in the 2.30pm at Cheltenham.

I was at Aintree the last day when he stayed strong and will love this test and the softer the better for him.

It's a "two horse race" but you "can't see it winning". Makes sense.

One to finish off on the usa racing, 9.09 Woodbine, Walkabout Creek, around 2/1 and looks nailed on for the win. Had a few bob on.

    I'm out

Didn't plan on having another bet tonight but form done for tomorrow and watching the usa. the dealyed 11.14 @ woodbine, the fav - Betwixting @ 1/2 is liking buying money. The split times are really good. Should win hard held. Few bob win for me.

Call me Lord my Nap , was a great price earlier in the week : dame de compaigne and cepage to make the patent

I have a feeling Elixr will come out all guns blazing today
Backed it for the supreme last year and they way that race worked out, I'd say it would have went close
Today may not be it's ground but then again, we can't be sure. Pentland Hill's drifting also.

Elixr/Windsor Ave double for me today. Ellison raves about Windsor, and on all showings I can see why. Sam is a good ol warrior but Windsor should be beating it.

Also did a treble with the 2 short price favs in the first 2 at cheltenham and through in Dame de Compagne to keep it interesting

Are you worried about the form of the triump or Henderson’s needing the first run back? That’s putting me off him. Brelan das was 10’s earlier in week I like his chances but he’s short enough now at 9/2

No, please don't ban him. Then I'll have to do my own homework when I'm laying on the exchanges.

Plus we are also getting bonus info on the US racing from Woodbine (in Canada!!)

Fancy Mister fisher in the 2nd at Cheltenham 11/4 was high enough hurdler last season and ran well in first run this season expecting plenty of improvement

He won it handy and I like Couer Sublime. First run back always a worry. The field is pure sh*t imo.
