Connecting to US

Booking a trip to America soon, no direct flights from Dublin so need to connect somewhere. My options are to connect in Toronto, London or Paris. Flying to America from Dublin I'm aware of the long "pre-emmigration" queue. What's the process from those airports above? Would I be right in thinking it'd be a faster connection in London, but then a longer immigration once I land?

There's a more expensive connection in Philly that I'm thinking may work better (get the prescreening out of the way in Dublin then regular internal flights in US).

There's pre clearance in Toronto afaik, the others would mean you clear US immigration and customs on landing on US soil

YYZ has US customs preclearance much like Dublin's. CDG and LHR do not, though, so if you connect through one of those airports, you'll go through customs clearance upon arrival in the US instead. If your first connection from Dublin is a US airport, you'll go through the customs preclearance in Dublin; if you connect at a non-US airport, then you won't be able to use the Dublin preclearance.
