We ve got 2 producer groups running for a while now, both beefplan affiliated (which i don t understand, surely one is ample ), anyways what are farmers experiences?, worthwhile?..restrictions?, ..price?...i dont sell many every year, but would like to support these groups, but am frustrated at info available, particularly re price...

I think people misunderstand the POs. Not very familiar with them but I believe in other countries you'd have many POs in each.
I know that both were invited to a meeting in Dunmanway which I was unable to make.
A PO cannot be a national monopoly. I presume a number will specialise.
There is a facilitator list of approved bodies/firms to help set one up.
