Audible signal / left lights on ...Duster

After a recent service from a competent mechanic ... probably only coincidence .... I’ve for the first time since I got my dacia duster in 2013 started to leave my lights on.

Never this before .... suddenly dawned on me that I wasn’t hearing the audible warning that always came on.
This only happened a couple of times in day light as I can see them at night....
I wonder when the mechanic connected the car to reset the service and the “service due light “... would it be possible that the “ audible” warning may have be switched off ? Is it possible to do that ?

Just a thought ... why would it suddenly stop giving me that ( very handy ) warning ?
    Thanks

    P
