Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite Scratches

Hey , so I bought the mi 9 lite about a month ago . Supposed to be for Xmas but couldn't resist playing around with it ! Never put it in my pocket or mistreated it , it wasn't used for day to day use , just to mess around with for an hour or two each each evening to have it setup for Xmas . Couple of days ago noticed a very small scratch on the screen . Like an indent . The more I inspected it , i saw a hair line scratch on it as well . Maybe my eye wasnt trained for it but was sick when I saw it .
Lovely phone but majorly pissed off . I've never used a screen protector on any of my Samsung's phones , Ive had the 3,5 and 7 . And these would have had serious wear & tear over the years . In pockets with keys , coins etc . Is the gorilla glass on these a bit dodgy or waa I just unlucky . Have spent the week reading up on it & the only solution seems to be a screen replacement. Now , it's not very noticeable , actually only when you tilt the phone at a certain angle . I got some tempered glass protectors off Amazon but they are useless . Bubbles galore . Ive heard the Whitedome protectors may fill in scratches due to the adhesive .But they aren't available for this model. I went to a local shop and and they are going to fit a screen protector for me . I couldn't be arsed ordering more .

So , long story short . Any one else have any mishaps with Xiaomi glass screens .

I've had a couple of their phones.

haven't used a screen protector and haven't had an issue.
