    Isn't there a tax benefit, something to do with BIK, possibly needing to be taken advantage of before year end?

    The Commercial Grant from the SEAI is gone from January (applications has to be in in October) so I would suspect that’s it.

    They have them preordered for years.....


    Most probably company cars so getting the BIK free now better

    Yea but there going to lose that in value buying the 2019 model the 2020 has a few upgrades and downgrades oddly enough.
    Bonkers time of the year to register a car. Still a few waiting to register, probably going to be the most popular in December as well.

    There no bik advantage to registering now just the €3800 seai grant, it doesn't effect bik.

    It'll all falls to pieces in 2yrs if they scap the 50k exemption, as EV's with only ok range are so expensive, I think they should up the exemption to 150k and get people into old model s's that kind of thing. Your not going to get diesel guys into leafs.
