Have Amazon changed in how they do business?

I might be late in this post but I have noticed Amazon have changed in how they do business in the last 12 months.

    1) No price difference refund anymore.
Before if a product dropped in price after a day or two, they would refund the difference.

    2) Amazon Warehouse Deals prices are not reduced as much in the past.

    3) Stricter about sending a replacement product if faulty. Before there was little or no quibble.

    Anybody else notice any differences?

If you buy something in Argos or Next etc do you expect them to give you a refund of the difference if the price changes afterwards?

Amazon have always been different. For the last 10 years, within reason, Amazon have always refunded the difference for me.

Recently Amazon seemed to have cut out these extras and I was just wondering have other people noticed changes.

I will still do the bulk of my online shopping with Amazon regardless.

You are right, I also noticed they are not as good as they used to be.

The reasons I believe are based on what you said yourself; people will still buy there regardless so they don't have to work hard for your money.

The divorce was very expensive guys....

Yes I confirm too, things have changed.

Also another annoying thing is the amount of crap items sold by third parties mainly chinese "companies" with "address" in the uk...
All of them appear to have great "discounts" the type of harvey norman sale
