Have an 18x10 timber shed that I'm currently insulating just looking for the most cost effective way of finishing the inside walls

I was thinking 6mm ply but even that would cost 200)250 e

    Any suggestions ?

Popsy what are you looking to achieve?

I've a workshop in a barn that I insulated with airboard. Haven't finished it further.

Places where something might just puncture the metal skin I've lined with 2nd hand 18mm ply. Places where I wanted to hang stuff more 18mm ply. Anywhere else bare.

6mm ply is a bit meh.

18mm ply is great if you are planning on putting up shelves or surface mounting electrics etc. Just screw into it anywhere, no looking for studs.
Shop around, you might be able to pick up some used sheeting. Bit of white paint on it and you'll never know the difference (really helps with light in the shed also).

12mm shuttering ply or OSB are also options. Depends on how fussed you are about how it looks.

Not fussed on looks , have sourced about 8 sheets of 12mm ply so I will use that on the walls that need it most the rest can stay bare for now until I find some more
