Two versions of the K30 due, both 5G
Using amoled screen with pill cutout like the Samsung S10
K30 due out next month December using 5G Mediatek chip.
    K30 Pro due early 2020 using Snapdragon 865 5G

Latest leak on the K30 is that it'll have a user option for screen refresh between 60Hz and 120Hz!

120Hz - faster screen refresh, uses more battery
60Hz - slower screen refresh, uses less battery

Many reviewers of the latest 90Hz screens sings their praises (except for the battery aspect maybe).

So 120Hz should bring even smoother screen scrolling/animations... albeit with a hit on battery. However being a user configurable user option provides choice. Plus battery might be 5000mAh plus to facilitate 5G.

Suffice to say that 120Hz is also rumoured for the forthcoming Samsung S11. So it's good to see Xiaomi using it too.

Anyone else getting excited by the K30 yet?
    It's on my shortlist for a 2020 purchase :-)

Is the mi 10 available to buy yet? It's a good bit over my budget but I tend to hold a phone for 3 years if possible.

Nowhere near yet. China only so far and both times it sold out in less than a minute. Limited due to factory shutdown from coronavirus.
No sign of global release yet
