Hello, I purchased a quad a few days ago and there seems to be a problem, on the log book it only has the last 8 digits of the number where as there should be full 17.

Who do I need to contact to change the logbook and have the full 17 digits?

    Thanks in advance

Does the number on the VLC match the VIN on the quad? If it does then there is nothing to do. If it doesn't then contact the seller or if they can't help you'll need to contact Shannon.

Are you planning on using it on the road? It's nearly impossible to insure quads for road usage here, have you got any quotes?

I know it's not needed in Ireland but I'm sending it to Poland and to register it I'll need full 17 digits.

I rang Shannon, they told me they only have what's on the log book, then they told me to ring motor tax office who said i need to contact revenue. I'm trying to ring them but noone picks up the phone there.

I got an answer where I need to send over to logbook to get it changed, i was told its the VRT Unit in Rosslare, it's hard to find the address, woul you have any idea what it is?

I found this on the revenue website:

    Central Vehicle Office
    Revenue Commissioners
    Rosslare Harbour
    Rosslare
    Wexford
    Y35 D393
