Where in galway can I get a watch valued? Preferably a place who would buy it as well. We were given an over the counter valuation of €1,500 approximately ,but that was afew years back.
    Thanks in advance.

    What watch is it?
A dealer will only give you about half the market value. Always better to try to sell privately. There is a good thread on here about how to do that.
To get a feel for the value look at sold listings on eBay.

Good advice. Ignore dealer prices as of late the distance between dealer prices and auction prices, IE a more valid idea of value, is usually quite large.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
