TV, phone and broadband bills are coming in around 135 pm.

Husband insists on having history and national geographic.

What free to air /free sat services or streaming services can I get these on

    Thanks.

History and NatGeo are not available on any free services.

I'm surprised you're paying that much for TV, phone (is this landline or mobile?) and bb. Do you have Sky Movies or Sky Sports subscription too?

Disney+ may be an option for some National Geographic content when it launches at the end of March. Won’t do you any good for History mind you. But there are triple play options available that will get you both for a lot less than €135pm.

Tell your husband he has the Likes of Dave, Smithsonian, Yesterday, PBS America, Quest, Quest red, Blaze, Dmax and Travel channel all on Free to air/Freesat . which covers lot of what Discover and National Geographic has to offer

The phone and broadband are bet 50 and 60bpm. The rest is tv. Main box, mini, box sets and kids. Throw in an occasional ppv and it's too expensive

Just totted mine up and it is exactly half what you are paying .....

€130.00 mobile - unlimited calls and texts within Ireland; 80GB data
€648.00 BB + incoming phone line; 150Mb/s unlimited fibre BroadBand
€ 38.00 phone calls from 'land line' based on previous use.
€000.00 tv - Free to Air

    €816.00 the lot.

    € 68.00/month

That is without sports, box office, or paying any sort of subscription for TV.

Probably as cheap as I can get it for now :)

Phone + broadband = €110? I assume that's mobile and broadband? Either way, that's very high - if you are out of contract just make a few calls and you'll get much better (e.g. I am with Vodafone gigabit broadband for €35 a month, you can get gomo mobile for a tenner).

You can cut back too while still keeping sky if you wanted - drop the multi-room and replace with a cheap freesat box (you might need to change your satellite lnb) and that'll reduce it. It's also worth ringing sky and cancelling, if nothing else you'll get a 35% discount on base price.

The main thing i am guessing here is that you haven't made any changes in some time. It's always worth ringing around.
