Petrol dilemma ...

So I currently drive a Volvo s90 D3 150bhp. I do about 25k km per year with a mixture of both city and motorway driving.

I was looking at changing to a new S60 T4 petrol with 190bhp ( they don’t come in diesel)

Am I crazy ? Will this make a massive difference to my economy and fuel costs . At present petrol is about .10c more expensive per litre but also worried about economy on the T4.

    Confused and thoughts or advice?

Hybrid. Better yet, plug in hybrid.

A lot of new S60 reviews criticise the ride comfort - so give that attention on a test drive.

Have yet to see a review of a non R design type one on smaller wheels though.

Alternatively - the V60 seems not to get the same criticism.

Edit - and because V60 came to market just before Volvo did their "future Volvo's won't come in diesel" thing - that was (is???) available as diesel
