    Hi,

wondering which EVs have 3x ISOFIX seats for kids, or at a push 2x ISOFIX + room for a 3rd child seat using seat belt.

    Thanks.

Model X has 4 isofix I believe. And boy do you pay for the privilege.

Thanks. Anything not quite so premium?

Unlikely is imagine. Id say it's rare enough to find a 3 isofix car. eNiro might squeeze a malnourished child in between 2 isofixs. Though I hear there's a long waiting list for those. I assume with 3 kids you'll need a decent boot too.

A second hand model S might be more attainable, and Google says it's got 3 isofix.

did you happen to Google any of these before posting here?

From my experience of owning i3, leaf and Zoe the Zoe is the only one with 3 Isofix seats- after that your into Tesla money or that Nissan van territory....
None of the above will in my experience take three of the seats I’ve had across the back. The i3 has two seats in the back - the third Isofix in the Zoe is on the front passenger seat and has full top tether set up.

I think the e-golf has 3, I'll check in the morning.

You could get a Multimac multi child seat. Should fit pretty much any EV (Leaf, Ioniq etc). Not cheap but cheaper than a Model X :D

Careful with ISOFIX assumptions. It's often the case that having three sets of fixings doesn't mean you can put three ISOFIX seats in at once (e.g. Tesla Model S).

I'd guess the e-Soul might be one of the better options, based on this.

The normal golf struggles with 3 rear (seperate) car seats unless you buy skinny car seats and even then I would be wary. Car seats are wide for a reason to help side stability.

There is a Multimac fitted to a I3 in Cork I see on a school run with 3 seats so if it fits a 2 seater it will fit any car. Looks much easier to use that the normal seats.

Tesla model s is probably the only EV i would risk 3 standard rear car seats as that is as wide as a bus.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

I had to look this up, but Ioniq only has 2 isofix fittings in the rear

I'm with krissovo here, no 3 kids seat will fit in any normal car, unless you get a very wide car (or use special solutions like skinny seats / multimac). I had large cars like BMW 7-series and 5-series when I needed 3 car seats.

It's a tough one, reason we had to jump to a S-Max when the three kids were of that age, then we came down to an Avensis and onto the Leaf.
I would actually say the Leaf has a wider back seat than the Avensis as my three felt much more room first time they were in the back.
    Nissan e-NV200?

Thanks everyone. Surely there will be plenty of families with 3 young kids that will need this in the next few years, that cant afford a Tesla. Anyway, that e-soul looks interesting (although perhaps kinda ugly)

    Esoul review: https://www.carzone.ie/reviews/new-car-reviews/Kia/e-Soul/2020/741

    Only has two isofixs though.

Not a hope. Ordinary cars won’t even fit 3 car seats. Even looked at an outlander and the middle seat was narrower than an a4 page, so no way you’d fit it.
