Terminations by YouTube for Service Changes

YouTube may terminate your access, or your Google account’s access to all or part of the Service if YouTube believes, in its sole discretion, that provision of the Service to you is no longer commercially viable. "

"this is a very broad and vague blanket term that could apply from people who make content that does not produce youtube ad revune to people using ad blocking software."

YouTuber asks his viewers to spam emojis as a voting mechanism. They briefly have their entire Google accounts suspended.

I dunno. This feels decently worrying that an entire Google account could fall victim to some automated tools. I'm very reliant on Google, with all my banking, work stuff and some business stuff in my personal account, and all my business stuff going through my paid account. (smpt server).

I've decided to use takeout.google.com now to get a big backup of absolutely everything. I don't think it's alarmist to think about what could happen because I do something on YouTube.

I'm actually just a rogue bot who has a problem with my creators. Renaming it to AdSense was the final betrayal.

Pornhub should enter the sfw market. They're the only other content provider who could do it, and they've already got a solid rep.

Just remember the not-so-old saying "if you're not paying for the service, you're not the customer, you're the product" just remember that when "using" Google, Facebook etc. The above is not surprising, unfortunately.

You should be able to sue the likes of youtube and twitter and have them forced to reverse their decisions if they are discriminating against you.,

Youtube, Google, etc. have argued many times in court that they are not "publishers" of material, they are merely "conduits" of it like the postal service. This is to protect them from slander/incitement/privacy invasion similar charges. If this is the case then they should not and can not discriminate against people just because they don't like them or their content - there has to be a good reason for it that will stand up in court.

Use duckduckgo. Pay the few quid a year for your own domain name and use the free email service from the domain provider. Install a few ad blockers and use youtube without being logged in. There is no need to be reliant on the Almighty GOOG

Yeah, DuckDuckGo is excellent for text searches. Sometimes fall back on Google for image and video, but for text there's no reason not to embrace the Duckside :D

Which domain provider do you think has the best included email service?

I’ve no interest in using anything other than Google and they have no interest in stealing my identity, despite me being ‘the product’. I won’t be banned from YouTube because I won’t be acting the bollix on it.
