Hi - looking for a smart television that meets the rough spec in the title. It's a gift for someone - the older samsungs came with magic remotes that had a large smart tv button in the middle but the newer ones have very compact remotes.

This is a gift for an older person - are there any models you have that come with one of the old-fashioned remotes?

    Hi ballygarus,

Most TVs in that size range would come with a standard remote.

The only size we would have between that would be a 40" Panasonic TX40GX700 at £469. It is a fantastic spec'd TV with a great panel and a very user friendly smart hub.

If you can go for a 43" TV there is a bit more choice and one of the TVs I would recommend would be the LG 43UM7400 at £349. Again this is a great TV and has a very user friendly interface and an old fashioned remote!

Let me know if either of these would be of interest to you!

    Kind regards

    David

any snap of the remote? I'm a fan of both the interfaces on Samsung and LG - both are good, but I haven't seen the panasonic UI - is the plex app supported on panasonic?
